We were supposed to blog about Poliwag, right?

Poliwag is the 60th Pokémon in the original 150 species. He is a water type, as well as of the tadpole species. He is essentially a blue tadpole with a black and white swirl on his stomach, which can be used to attack with hypnosis. Poliwag, once he reaches at least a level 25, will evolve into a Poliwhirl, who will evolve into a Poliwrath once exposed to a Water Stone. In addition to hypnosis, Poliwag’s attacks consist of things such as water gun, bubble beam, and mud shot. Poliwag is very fast, has very flexible skin that “even sharp fangs bounce right off” of, and prefers the water over the land.

All this information, as well as the picture below, was gathered from Bulbapedia, which I think is a brilliant name for an informational Pokémon website.

Is this a real hospital?

This website, at first glance looks like a real, actual hospital where they treat real, actual patients. It’s got fancy graphics on the homepage, and a section titled “Hospital News.” To the passing, unobservant eye it looks like just another hospital. But then you click on the “About Us” link and it becomes very obvious very fast that there is no way this is a real hospital. On this page it says, “At RYT, medical possibilities become medical breakthroughs. From the first human male pregnancy to the first successful medical application of nanotechnology, RYT Hospital-Dwayne Medical Center has dramatically advanced the art, science, and technology of medicine.” Last time I checked, male pregnancy is still impossible, as is nanotechnology, but no one would see this part at first glance. I guess it’s amazing what a fancy website can do to convince people.
